A SO FULL Success!
Thank you so much to all who came out tonight and throughout the year. The artists, wow what can I say you guys are amazing! Crew thanks a million couldn't have done it without your help this year. Also, Tiff, Marisa, and everyone who helped spread the word about our event! We are truly grateful! We look forward to another year...only bigger, better, and even more FULL of Soul!
So Full will be taking a short break until March 2011. Some of the reasons for the break are to make some improvements to bring you only the best. We are hoping to expand by adding a larger venue to create a more comfortable atmosphere, with more space and great ambience! The rest, is a surprise...so stay tuned!
We are very grateful to all of you whom have supported us through this year and we hope you will continue to support us into the future events that Poetic Groove Productions presents and affiliates with.
Please stay tuned for Artist updates as well as other events we may put on in the meantime!

About Me
- Poetic Groove Productions
- I like to think that we aren't building a company but rather a family. A family of real artists, who have a passion and love for what they do. A family of entrepreneurs who genuinely care about the artists who come through and want to provide them with the avenues that may not have been there for them without our help. Poetic Groove Productions was started by me, Michelle Mondesir, a bit out of frustration and otherwise out of wanting to further mine and other urban soul artists careers. In 2010, we put on an event we call, "So Full" at The Central downtown Toronto every other month to showcase artists in the urban categories where support seemed to be most lacking. The categories we most focused on were, Soul, Neo-soul, Conscious Hip Hop, Spoken Word. We skipped out on the event for 2011 but we look forward to it's continuation in 2012! We are happy to provide you with all of your music production needs, including commercial, artist (indie or not), and film. Welcome! Poetic Groove Productions Mission
Hello and Welcome!
We are so excited to be a part of the growing of Canada's Urban Music industry!
Poetic Groove Productions was started by Michelle Mondesir in 2009. After much consideration of how to make an urban music artist's career take off in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Michelle decided that creating an indie label was the only way to go. Even though this task has proven to be among the toughest-to start up, run, and basically be the label- Michelle continues to forge through and has proven to be successful in a short space in time. Her brainchild event "So Full" has proven to be a great gateway for Indie Urban Music artists in Toronto to get their feet wet and break into the biz. With the ability to broadcast these artists over YouTube (www.youtube.com/poeticgrooves) and on the Poetic Groove Productions website (www.poeticgrooveproductions.com) as well as getting the artists and fans involved on Facebook the artists that come through So Full have had the ability to get noticed when there was no true outlet that allowed for such reach in the Soulful Urban genre in Toronto. Poetic Groove Productions goal is to not only allow for such an opportunity for artists that could have otherwise easily slipped through the music industry cracks but also to motivate others to bring good soulful music back.

A Bit About So Full...
"So Full" ~Love.Life.Song.Soul~
So Full is an event that Poetic Groove Productions puts on bi-monthly in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My name is Michelle Mondesir. I am first and foremost a singer/songwriter/producer but I realize that sometimes to get things done you have to do it yourself so I decided not only to start my own production/record company but also to put on a showcase to feature affiliated artists as well as myself and other Urban Canadian talent. The one area most lacking in Canadian radio/tv/events is the Soul category. So, So Full's main purpose has been to create a venue for Canadian artists that would fall into the "Soul" category. (We also include soulful R&B, Neo-soul, Conscious Hip Hop, Poetry, Spoken Word, Reggae, World Music, Blues and Jazz).
